Meet the Team

William Hearn established Truevolt Electrical Services in 2017 after 15 years of comprehensive training and experience in the electrical trade. William’s training included a five year apprenticeship that consisted of 10,000 on the job training hours combined with 1,000 hours in the classroom. After apprenticeship William spent ten years gaining broad experience working as a Journeyman Electrician. He enjoys smoking a nice cigar on his porch and hanging out with his kids and wife.

Danielle Hearn has a decade of experience working within the intricacies of people management and is a strong believer in positivity in the workplace. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, she enjoys a nice day at the beach and being on the water, watching FSU football, cooking, a nice glass of wine and spending time with her husband and kids.

Kristine Vergouwen is from South Florida and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Business Management. Kristine has been working in management for over 10 years with the last eight years in construction. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog Owen.

Bobby “Gene” Huff has been in the electrical field for over 25 years and can do both commercial and residential work. Gene is not afraid to get dirty and gets even our most difficult jobs completed. Gene is in the Army Reserves and has two daughters and is always willing to give a helping hand.

Troy Klein brings 30 years of experience with him to Truevolt Electric! Troy can work in both the residential and commercial field but loves working in the residential field because he loves helping people.

Armando Rodriguez has been with Truevolt Electric before and he is back! Armando is a strong residential electrician and customers are always requesting him by name. We are so happy to have Mando back with our team!

Nathan “Nate” Payne is a Tallahassee local who joined our team in March 2025 and our customers absolutely love him. He has 7 years of experience mostly in residential work but is willing to work on any project. When he is not at work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle or being on his boat. He is a great asset to our team!

Austin is from Central Florida and he does a lot of our residential remodels! He has been doing electric work for over 8 years and can do both residential and commercial work. He enjoys being outdoors, riding his four wheeler, and traveling with his wife.

Brett is a Tallahassee native who has been working in the electrical field for over 10 years! After spending some time out on his own, we’re excited to have him back here at Truevolt, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on the team!

With more than a decade of experience in the field, Brett brings a wealth of knowledge and a laid-back energy that our customers love.

When Brett isn’t at work, you can usually find him out on his boat, or spending time with his girlfriend and their pets.

Jr worked as Williams helper at their last job and has been in the electrical field for over 20 years and enjoys doing it everyday. Jr has three kids and loves to watch his son play football. When Jr is not working, he enjoys fishing and working on cars. Jr is currently working along side Troy.

Preston Hearn is the son of the owner William Hearn and was excited to get to work after graduating high school in May 2025. He has been with Truevolt for a little over a month and is currently working with Austin. Preston enjoys hanging out with his friends/girlfriend and going to the beach/boating to fish. Any free time he gets, he likes to travel to South Florida to visit family.

Andrew is new to the electrical field, he wanted to find a job where he could work with his hands and extremely excited and eager to learn! Andrew is from Maryland/Pennsylvania and was in the Airforce for 10 years. His favorite hobby is fishing and he loves Harry Potter and Anime.

Miles is the newest member of the Truevolt team and is just getting started in the electrical field! After giving college a try for a year, he decided it wasn’t the right path for him, and we’re certainly glad he found his way to Truevolt!

We were impressed from the start when Miles spent his first few weeks working with Gene and didn’t flinch at the challenges of learning a brand new trade. Since then, he’s had the opportunity to work alongside all of our lead electricians, gaining experience and learning something new from each of them.

We’ve been so impressed with Miles’ willingness to learn, positive attitude, and eagerness to take on new challenges. We’re excited to watch him continue to grow and develop his skills!

When Miles isn’t at work, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, going to football games and spending time at the beach.

Levi Maynard was born and raised in Tallahassee! He started his technical training at Lively Tech and his first job in the electrical field is with Truevolt. Levi has been working both in residential and commercial and learning both sides of the trade. He is currently engaged and we will be getting married this summer!

David is actually William’s cousin, making Truevolt truly a family affair! We’re lucky enough to have both William’s cousin and his son as part of the Truevolt team, and we love having family involved in the business! David recently moved to the Tallahassee area and is beginning his journey in the electrical contracting industry. While he’s new to electrical contracting, he brings valuable experience from working with a variety of large systems in the past. David is also currently serving in the Reserves while taking classes in electrical contracting to continue building his knowledge and skills. We’re excited to watch him grow in the electrical field and put his experience to work here at Truevolt!

Jeffery “Tyler” Hammond started his electrical experience attending trade school and started his field experience with Truevolt about 3 months ago in March 2025. He is currently working alongside our lead Nathan doing mostly residential work. Tyler enjoys working out and going fishing in his free time!
